I hate that the only thing Jasmin does to save the day is seduce Jafar. She doesn’t try to fight Jafar, she doesn’t try to get the lamp herself, she just kisses him. Out of all the messages that Disney sends to little kids, I think that is the worst.

you boob she does try to get the lamp first. jafar has a fucking genie that could grant him any wish (cept for some rules). and since jafar wants to hit that the only way she could distract him from aladdin who was getting the lamp was to seduce him.  it’s not a message at all. it’s just a clever way to get shit done because that’s what bitches do
